William (Liam) Heusel assists businesses with telemarketing and TCPA compliance, litigation support, and data privacy matters. His work focuses on regulatory issues at the intersection of consumer protection and emerging technologies, including artificial intelligence.

Liam graduated cum laude from the University of Missouri–Kansas City School of Law, where he earned a CALI Award in Business Torts & Unfair Competition and served on the UMKC Law Review. During law school, he worked with the Legal Technology Laboratory, researching legal applications of artificial intelligence and contributing to a federal grant proposal on legal technology innovation.

Liam holds a Bachelor of Arts from Washington University in St. Louis. At the firm, he works with businesses across industries on telemarketing compliance strategies, TCPA litigation support, and policies addressing privacy, consent, and artificial intelligence governance.

Outside the office, Liam enjoys creative writing, cooking, skiing, and exploring the outdoors around Kansas City.
